I possess an in-depth working knowledge of the Consumer Electronics Industry. My career started in the 1980’s as a retail hi-fi sales associate in Metro-NY and later in Los Angeles, CA. This was followed by nearly a decade of sales, product development, and marketing roles held with Philips, JBL and SHARP Electronics.
In 2000, I cut my PR agency world teeth with a Long Island, NY PR firm led by the former GM of New York’s Weber Shandwick, and subsequently established Muto Communications in 2002.
Muto Communications has conducted PR campaigns for dozens of tech companies within the Big-Box retail and custom residential channels. Types of clients are:

Paul Fredrickson, in addition to his consulting work these past decades, has deep corporate global business development, brand and product management experience with new technology.
This includes LED lighting, high-end audio and video products, digital signage, media, virtual reality, wearables, and tech investments (RCA, Philips, Luminus Devices, HGTV network, Mitsui, Sensory Science, GoVideo, California Audio Labs, Loewe and formed NuVision).
Paul has co-driven Muto Communications’ Atlantic Technology, NextLevel Acoustics, Amina Technologies and Hegel PR campaigns. He also specializes in C-Suite level business development plans, business revitalization, and market opportunity analyses for Muto Communications clients.

Richard Frank has 30+ years of experience in strategic public relations, marketing, and sales. He has successfully driven campaigns for iconic brands Dahlquist, Carver, dbx, Boston Acoustics, McIntosh, Monster Cable, Infinity, Alpine, and TAD.
Richard is also a sales demonstration expert, trained by industry experts from Bose, dbx, professional musicians and CE industry icons like Saul Marantz, Jon Dahlquist, and Dirk Roos. In fact, Richard was recognized as a CEDIA channel expert by the #1 publication in the CEDIA category, CEPro.
Richard also has vast experience in establishing sales networks for CE brands including representatives and retailers.
Muto Communications has now entered its third consecutive year as PR-agency-of-record for Olibra and their innovative Bond Bridge Smarthome control platform of which Richard co-drives many of the daily aspects of our international PR and marketing campaign.
